Hello Everyone!

We were blessed by some friends and fellow ministers’ recap of 2010 so we thought it would be fun to do one as well! We are very thankful for what the Lord has done with us and through us in 2010 and we can’t wait to see what He's going to do in 2011.

2010 at the Freedom Prayer Room:

Regional Prayer Meetings: In early January, we teamed up with Worldwide Great Commission Fellowship, New Life Fellowship, True Blessings Ministries, and others to pray for revival and restoration in Ohio. Not only were these meetings a great time of worship and prayer for our state but they were also fruitful in developing key ministry relationships that will continue on in 2011 and beyond.

Garrett House Outreach: On Valentine’s Day, we started an outreach at the Garrett House in Garrettsville, OH, and senior independent living facility. For 5 holidays, we handed out goodies, small gifts, and tracts to the elderly, many let us pray for them, some told us their life story!

Prayer School: In the spring/summer we hosted Prayer School, a weekly service devoted to equipping saints how to develop their relationship with God, how to hear Him more clearly, how to pray, and how to lay on hands. Visitors gained much confidence in the above and many were refreshed in some of the meetings that broke out into revival.

Unite The Fire: In April & May we hosted Unite the Fire Prophetic Worship Meetings at New Life Fellowship and the Freedom Prayer Room. Worship teams included members from several ministries including True Blessings Ministries, King of Glory Outreach, New Life Fellowship, and Freedom Prayer Room. The Lord moved powerful in both these meetings, including unforgettable drum break-outs at each event.

Holy Spirit Encounter: In May, we teamed up with our friends Steve Porter of The Soaking Place/Team Impact University, Gayle Neumann of Jubilant Remnant, and Melinda Bauman of WGCF for Holy Spirit Encounter Meetings. These meetings were exciting as it was the first conference Mike Thompson spoke and Joe Channel drummed. Rick Thompson led worship which broke out into power word and song with Steve Porter. During these meetings a young boy was healed, several received prophetic words, and many were refreshed in His awesome presence!

Candlelight Soaking Nights: In June & September we hosted our Candlelight Soaking Nights where we turned the lights down, lit the candles, and rested in the presence of the Lord! Rob Sheer & Rick Thompson led worship in the June meeting while Rebecca Pittman & Natalie Haines led into a powerful time in the Lord in September. We are looking forward to more of these meetings starting in early 2011!

Rain Down Ohio Conferences: In July and August, we teamed up with Steve Porter and Doug Frano for the one day Rain Down Ohio Conferences. Rick Thompson led worship for these meetings. Doug Frano taught on and activated people in the prophetic in the morning. Mike Thompson taught on evangelism and led teams on treasure hunts for lost souls in the afternoon. Steve Porter preached on the presence of God in the evening sessions. People were saved, activated, and refreshed as a result of the Lord’s grace in these exciting meetings!

Prophetic Training: In October, we teamed up with Pastor Doug Frano of New Life Fellowship for Sharpening the Sword Prophetic Training. These meetings were fun and exciting as many were activated and gained confidence in the prophetic.

Prophetic Intercession 101 Training: In November, we hosted 3 weeks training on prophetic intercession. There was no teaching in the last session as the Holy Spirit took over halfway through worship and the rest of the night turned into powerful intercession through song!

Other happenings in 2010: 1) Rob Sheer & Rebecca Pittman were developed greatly in prophetic worship and will be filling-in for Rick Thompson while he is in Florida in 2011. 2) Father of the house, Dave Thompson was married to his wife Barbie in October. 3) Our friend Natalie Haines is now doing worship for 7th/8th graders at VCC. 4) Joe Channel got opportunity to lead Bible Study this fall and is now drumming for New Life Fellowship. 5) Jenn & Mike Thompson were honored to volunteer for George & Nancy Bradley’s Fair Ministry this summer where nearly 2,000 people said a sinner’s prayer at the Trumbull and Canfield County Fairs. 6) John & Claudia Garrett who attended Freedom Prayer Room this spring went on to start their own church in Freedom Township called Bethel Springs. 7) Our friend Steve Porter was greatly blessed by the Lord, who gave him opportunity to speak to 3,000 pastors and graduates in Africa!


Guest Speakers in 2010: Roger Webb, John Mark Pool, Mike Continenza, Jim DeSantis, Natalie Haines, Bud Votaw, Sue Knauff, Peter Mitchell, Dino Alexandrise, Will Pollock, Claudia Garrett, and Doug Frano.


**Expectations For 2011: 1)We are currently in a time of refining for what I believe will be an incredible increase in 2011. We will be ending 2010 and starting 2011 with strengthening ourselves in the Lord and His rest. 2) In 2011, the Lord willing, we expect to host two or more equipping classes similar to the Sharpening The Sword Prophetic Training with Doug Frano. 3) Prophetic worship will continue to be our primary focus as Rob Sheer and Rebecca Pittman take over for Rick Thompson. 4) Teaching will continue to be balanced between character, intimacy, and mobilization with a “how to” approach. 5) We are considering monthly, regularly scheduled worship and prayer meetings every third Sunday night. 6) We are considering special leadership training classes. 7) We are considering community education outreaches where will invite community members to join us for Life Skills Training 8) We will be introducing video teaching, training, and documentaries with our new projector. 9) We look forward to inviting back some guest speakers from 2010 and inviting some additional ones.

Rick Thompson's Last Day Leading Worship at Freedom Prayer Room

Join us Sunday, Nov 28, at 6pm, at the Freedom Prayer Room as Prophetic Psalmist Rick Thompson will be leading worship for the last time in Ohio before moving to Florida!

We will be honoring Rick, blessing his move, and celebrating the times the Lord used him to usher in revival and His sweet manifest presence!

There will also be a time of fellowship afterward, where we'll be serving pizza and cake. Please come say your final goodbyes to Rick and his family and celebrate with us!

Prophetic Intercession 101 Training

This is a 3 week class designed for all believers to establish a basic experiential understanding of prophetic intercession through sound Biblical teaching and hands-on activations.

Week 1 (Sunday, Nov. 7, 6pm): You will learn what prophetic intercession is, who is called to intercede, why you should intercede, when to intercede, and how to intercede (simple 3 step prayer model).

Week 2 (Sunday, Nov. 14, 6pm): You will learn how to process revelation and avoid filters.

Week 3 (Sunday, Nov. 21, 6pm): You will learn how to lead a prayer team and operate in the prophetic ethically.

Sharpening The Sword Prophetic Training Starting Oct 10!

Multiple Ministries Gather to Pray For Revival in Ohio at Freedom Prayer Room

Prophet John Mark Pool of Word to the World Ministries will be speaking and ministering in the prophetic at the Freedom Prayer Room on Sunday, Feb 28, at 6pm.

John Mark Pool is ordained by James Goll of the Encounter Network and is used by the Lord to teach, train and activate "the Body of Christ in the Apostolic/Prophetic Five-fold Ministries for the release of the Saints to do the work of the ministry."

Last time Natalie Haines was our guest speaker the Lord used her to deliver a powerful message on worship that really broke the corporate atmosphere! She recently returned home after spending 3 months with Heidi Baker's Irirs Ministeries missions school in Mozambique.

We are excited to have her back this Valentine's Day to hear her praise reports from Mozambique and sure-to-be great message about perfect love!
